David is a global executive and advisor with over 20 years of leading change in organisations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 to public sector as well as over 10 years of strategy and change management consulting experience. He spends his time building new relationships, delivering training, and acting as a trusted advisor to multinational clients.
David has engaged in organisational change as an executive sponsor, adviser, and instructor for a wide range of organisations including American Express, Sabre Holdings, University of Michigan, Lutron Electronics, Slalom Consulting, the State of Arizona, the City of Tacoma, Discover the World Marketing, the Arizona Technology Council among others.
Prior to joining the team, David served as Managing Director for MSS Consulting in the United States where he led Business Development and was Executive Director of the Business Transformation Institute focusing on change in complex environments and on developing Responsive and Agile organisations. He also acted as the practice lead for Business Strategy and Organisational Change Management.
From 2011-2015, David was Vice President of Global Development and Network Operations for Discover the World Marketing, the largest global sales agent for the travel industry operating across five continents and over 60 countries. His role was to lead global transformation efforts for a company facing both value chain and technological disruption.
Before that, David served nine years as an executive for American Express in multiple functions including Principal, Global Consulting; Director, Global Strategy for Asia Pacific based in Singapore; and Director, Global Innovation for Business Travel. He has additional experience across a variety of industries including financial services, travel, commercial construction, and the public sector which helps him identify with needs and obstacles of most companies seeking to change their business operations.
David is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Business Administration at the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University. He has a Master in International Management from Thunderbird, the School for Global Management at Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Olin School of Business at Washington University.
